In addition to early childhood education,
RLC seeks to serve the whole family.
Early Childhood and School-Age Education
From
infancy through school age, Renaissance
children learn and grow in a safe,
stimulating atmosphere guided by teachers
whose skill and warmth make learning a daily
pleasure.
Georgia Pre-K
The goal of this program is to provide
preschool children with the learning
experiences needed to be successful in
kindergarten--School Readiness. Children
must be four years of age before September
1st in order to participate. Pre-k students
will have twice a week Chinese, Spanish and
French class and RLC in collaboration with
Atlanta Symphony Orchestra offer '' Kids
with Strings" - Music Appreciation Program.
Before/ Afterschool Programs and Camps
Whenever
public schools are closed, school-aged
children receive full or half-day services
and are provided recreational and
educational activities.
Pre-Teen and Teen Program
Out
of School Time Camp serves school-age
children before and after school and during
summer vacation. When schools are closed, we
are here as a healthy alternative to
unsupervised activity. Our program includes
homework assistance and other academic help,
recreation, mentoring, career counseling and
job preparation, field trips and interesting
cultural experiences. Life skills training
encourages development of values and good
decision-making about sex, drugs, violence,
staying in school and being a good citizen.
